SAIC is seeking a Program Analyst III to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Program Analyst III is required to support a fast paced technical group supporting flares and countermeasures. This person will be trained to use iPDM software if required, but prior experience is a significant preference. The tasking includes Document Control within iPDM, Technical Writing, Data Management, and Configuration Management.
JOB DUTIES:
- Perform the planning, scheduling, and coordination of configuration and document management functions; Create and assess workflow processes for identification, configuration control and configuration status;
- Provide data management support for Establishing Goals, Developing Flowcharts, Monitoring Progress & Report Issues/Achievements;
- Assist in establishing the CM environment;
- Support CM policy and procedure guidelines, reports and audits, product scope change control, version control, CM documentation & Product component registration;
- Implement and maintain tools necessary to support version & change control
- Use CM tools and bug tracking tools;
- Collaborate with teams, must be capable of understanding, interpreting & synthesizing engineering drawings & technical information from engineering documentation;
- Edit for technical accuracy, make recommendations and answer questions from customers as well as elevate when necessary;
- Adhere to ISO standards and Navy procedures for records management; establish filing systems for easy document retrieval; perform other duties as assigned by the QA Managers;
- Organize and maintain all QA documents, files, spreadsheets, databases, reports, and materials;
- Maintain customer complaint database, research complaints, track investigation progress.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge of iPDM to add, look up current documentation, and ensure accurate information. Experience supporting NSWC Crane is preferred)
- Must be Intermediate to advanced in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc).
- Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, and work well independently and as part of a team
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND CLEARANCE:
- Bachelor's degree and four (4) or more of experience; Masters and two (2) years of experience.
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with DoD configuration management processes and documentation
- Experience with Microsoft Access and Microsoft Project strongly preferred.
