Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:  A Customer mission center is seeking strong programmatic support and assistance tracking requirements to ensure continuity of operations to meet mission strategies.  The candidate will support senior mission center Customers in strategic and tactical endeavors to enhance technical solutions in support of key requirements.  S/he will facilitate communication and provide support to CONUS and OCONUS technical officers to help them effectively support the mission.  The candidate must be a self-starter who can effectively facilitate activities and coordinate with multiple Customer elements, including senior officials, and external partners.  Additional duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

 ·       Manage daily business operations, including drafting and coordinating briefings, facilitating meetings, documenting and tracking mission center requirements, responding to actions and cables, and disseminating meeting minutes from the team’s weekly staff meeting.

·       Monitor projects within the mission center, coordinate associated activities across the team, and provide updates on project status.

·       Prepare briefing slides and other project documentation.

·       Lead the mission center front office monthly highlights process and provide ad hoc support to the front office as needed, to include helping to manage the center’s website. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Current TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field (four years of relevant experience may substitute in lieu of a degree), and ten years of work experience.
  • Successful experience supporting a Front Office environment and senior leadership, along with experience supporting operational elements and multiple Customer offices.  Previous work in a mission center is a plus.
  • Excellent project management experience developing project plans and briefings that capture requirements, roadmaps, constraints, risks, schedules, resource needs, and budget.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish professional rapport in a team environment and across organizational boundaries.
  • Collaboration skills to support relationships with stakeholders to elicit requirements and leverage partnerships; excellent facilitation skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Extensive experience planning and tracking team initiatives and deliverables.
  • Advanced communication and problem-solving skills. 
  • Skilled with Microsoft products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Experience with knowledge management tools such as Confluence and Hive.
  • Demonstrated excellent writing skills. 
  • Familiarity with the Customer’s cable system to track, draft, and respond to cables.


    Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
