Description
This position will be responsible for multiple tasks such as supporting management monitoring of SAIC policies and procedures, providing accounting support for special projects, performing SOX and DFARS control testing, assisting with various audit requests, and many others. The selected candidate will be responsible for a wide variety of activities, which requires an understanding of SAIC policies/procedures and financial regulations to ensure compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform quarterly monitoring of SAIC procedures throughout the entire organization.
- Support Internal, External and Government audit requests through coordination with various departments while ensuring documentation provided is compliant with CAS, FAR and SAIC policies.
- Assist with the performance of SOX and DFARS control testing.
- Assist with process improvement and the implementation of remediation plans based on audit findings.
- Provide accounting support through reporting and analysis for various organizations.
- Assist management as required supporting various ad-hoc requests, working with individuals in and outside of the finance organization.
Qualifications
- Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a business-related discipline from an accredited college or university and 3 to 6 years of relevant experience.
- Candidate must be a US citizen.
- Candidate must have the ability to telework with access to a reliable internet connection.
- Candidate must be proactive and a self-starter that is able to multi-task in a fast-paced dynamic environment under limited supervision.
- Candidate must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams).
- Candidate must have strong analytical and technical skills, including experience with data analytic tools.
- Candidate must have strong task management skills, with an ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong interpersonal skills to interact with various levels of management. This includes the ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships at all levels of the organization, and to work well independently and as part of a team.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in Government Contracting. General knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Previous exposure to SAIC policies, procedures, and experience with Costpoint, Cognos, Power BI, and Power Automate highly desirable.

Salary : $63,700 - $80,700
