Operations Analysts are essential, to support our USG customer on some very important national security missions. Analysts are expected to demonstrate excellent communication skills, mastery of their assigned portfolio, and the ability to quickly adapt and respond to challenging situations. Must be effective and efficient communicators able to understand and synthesize fast-breaking incoming information for intelligence community stakeholders. Attention to detail and accuracy is key, as well as the ability to quickly triage multiple competing requests and priorities each day.
Job Responsibilities:
Support all aspects of the intelligence cycle and ensure operational activities are carried out in accordance with applicable guidance
Interface with domestic and overseas personnel as well as internal and external stakeholders to coordinate complex operations
Responsible for a specific regional or topical portfolio and will interface daily with internal and external stakeholders to drive the mission forward.
Draft formal & informal correspondence (to include but not limited to cables & memos)
Brief senior IC leaders on the assigned portfolio
Respond to tasking’s under short and unexpected deadlines
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI w/Poly
Minimum of 12 years’ experience with a Bachelor's Degree, additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Relevant experience with Sponsor culture and operational environment
Familiarity with and ability to work collaboratively across mission centers and organizational functional boundaries
Demonstrated experience with the IC or other USG agencies performing work similar in scope
Occasional domestic or overseas travel may be available or required for this position
At least 12 years tradecraft-related work experience
Certification in Sponsor basic tradecraft courses
Desired Qualifications:
Previous foreign overseas field experience, PCS tour or DY experience of comparable duration, providing support to intelligence collection operations
CONUS or OCONUS overseas tours & TDY experience
