Description
SAIC is seeking a Junior System Administrator to join our team in Fort Moore, Georgia.
Job Responsibilities
- This position will assist the Maneuver Battle Lab contractor leadership in accomplishing simulation interface analysis and development.
- Performs Software Development activities related to Information Technologies including requirements implementation, interface and data architectures, validation and verification, software development, and systems integration.
- Performs functional analysis to translate software specifications into application software.
- Will work with a team that is applying High Level Architecture (HLA), Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) protocols, and other emerging simulation interoperability standards to existing and emerging simulations used by the US Army to enable simulation federations that support distributed experimentation, test, evaluation and studies across several major Army commands.
- Must be able to able to read and produce Java code, with the ability to identify errors in simulation. This person will assess reported errors, apply corrections, and code new functionality.
Required Education
Bachelors and zero (0) years of experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience/knowledge of Java
- Some knowledge of Agile technical practices
- Attention to detail and completeness
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
