Description
SAIC is looking for Open Source (OSINT) Targeters to utilize research best practices, apply critical thinking and analytic skills while conducting open source searches to seek out content to inform analysis and support operations. Candidates must be able to apply an in depth understanding of the customer’s vision and mission, craft effective queries, organize and communicate information clearly, and explore for new insights and sources of information to build a comprehensive understanding and landscape of defined areas of interest.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
Must have an active/current TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience or a minimum of 20 years of IC experience in open source research or targeting within customer domain.
Must have supported a targeting role within the IC in the last 2 years.
Proven analytic and problem-solving skills to apply research findings to the right context in a diverse set of customer environments and use cases.
Expert in conducting open source internet research using appropriate best practices and familiarity with analytic and operational practices.
Possesses strong critical thinking/analytic skills to process large amounts of information, detect relevant factors, and discern the most important elements.
Proven ability to effectively communicate findings and assessments in oral and written communication.
Must have experience working knowledge of customer systems and tools.
Experience with understanding and researching for data, commercial business analytic tools, highly preferred.
