SAIC is hiring a Software Engineer to support the development of Air and Missile Defense simulations. This position is located in, El Paso, TX.
The candidate will work as a member of the software development team under program leadership frequently interacting with team members, supervisors, subcontractors and support personnel. In addition, the candidate will develop software under established software engineering standards as part of the team. Responsibilities include supporting the entire software development process for requirement definition, design, coding and testing. Meeting deadlines and contributing to quality product control will be required tasks. This position s upports 10% travel to the customer site in the US and internationally.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelors and zero (0) years or more experience; four (4) years experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
Required Clearance:
- The ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance is required to maintain employment
- US citizenship is required
Required Skills:
- Experience supporting software development projects
- Strong understanding of coding in C and JAVA
- Experience with Linux Operating System for software development
