The Eagle Geriatrics and Internal Medicine clinic is looking to hire a team-oriented and confident Medical Assistant!
$1500 Sign On Bonus offered to external candidates!
This MA position will primarily support the Geriatrics provider team which includes a Physician, NP, Social Worker, and Pharmacist.
The Saint Alphonsus Geriatrics Program provides a comprehensive and compassionate approach to patients dealing with cognitive impairments and chronic conditions.
Our team of healthcare professionals listed above work closely with the patient and their family to provide the tools and education to help the patient age gracefully and prolong their independence as long as possible.

In addition to typical MA duties, you will perform POC testing, immunizations, med refills, patient calls and triage, and assisting with minor procedures and healthcare assessments when needed.
You will primarily be working with older patients so appointments will be longer (2 hours for new patients, 1 hour for follow up appointments) due to the patient meeting with multiple providers/staff on the Geriatrics team.
You will have the opportunity to cross train in Internal Medicine as well to be able to support MAs and other providers when needed.
An ideal candidate will be team-oriented, have a positive attitude, and is flexible and adaptable.
You will also have a sense of urgency during the rooming process and with any orders or tasks since the patient may meet with several providers and staff during their visit.
You will also enjoy developing relationships with patients and you are dedicated and committed to providing the best patient care!
40 hours per week, Mondays - Fridays, schedule can vary between the hours of 7:00am - 5:00pm based on clinic needs.
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays: Will work at the Eagle Health Plaza (323 E Riverside Dr. Ste. 224, Eagle, ID - Highway 44 and Eagle Road)
Tuesdays and Thursdays: Will work at the Nampa Clinic (1510 12th Ave Rd Ste 200, Nampa, ID 83686)
This schedule is subject to change based on clinics' needs.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
MA certification required within 90 days of eligibility to take a national certification exam from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies:
American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)
American Medical Technologists (RMA)
National Healthcare Association (CCMA)
National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)
American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire
