Trauma Smart Manager (Crittenton Children’s Center)
Saint Luke’s Crittenton Children’s Center in South Kansas City, MO is seeking a Trauma Smart Manager to join their Community Programs & Prevention team.
Trauma Smart is an innovative, evidence-based model of trauma-informed practice, utilized by teachers, parents and mental health providers. We work with elementary & secondary schools, Head Starts and other early childhood programs to create safe, healthy environments for children to learn, grow and succeed.
We are looking for a clinically licensed master's level mental health professional to provide supervision for trainers and consultants.
Monday – Friday, day shift. This position requires overnight travel of up to 2-8 nights per month.
The Work:
· The manager supports client agencies as they work toward becoming trauma-informed and is responsible for data collection, hiring and product development as assigned.
· The manager will also provide direct service including training and consultation for client agencies.
· Responsible for daily program operation of prevention and school-based services.
· Responsible for staff caseload assignment, supervision, tracking and collecting data for program outcomes.
· Provides consultation and training as designated by director.
· Training in trauma-informed models will be provided.
Must have:
· Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
· Missouri licensure at the clinical level (LCSW or LPC only).
· Knowledge of Trauma-informed Care models, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), early childhood, education, consultation, training, and Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competency (ARC).
· Must have a clean driving record and applicable vehicle insurance.
· Spanish or other languages is a plus.
