What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respiratory Therapist Per Diem Days SLB position at Saint Luke's Hospital?
The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care to patients.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited AMA Respiratory Care Program
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Some experience in respiratory care or related area
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current RCP State of Texas License, Possession of current CRT or RRT Certification from NBRC Renewal required every 5 years unless grandfathered prior to July 1, 2002)
REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR):
BLS-Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training
ACLS-required for Adult EMERGENT Airway Team within 6 months of hire or transfer to position.
NRP-required for Neonatal within 6 months of hire or transfer to position.
PALS- required for PICU within 6 months of hire or transfer to position.
