What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Assistant - Staffing Pool position at Saint Therese?
Be part of the Saint Therese difference! We are seeking experienced Certified Nursing Assistants to join the Saint Therese Staffing Pool.
In this position you would float to one of our two eastern campuses of Saint Therese of Woodbury or St. Odilia in Shoreview. As part of the Staffing Pool you agree to work a minimum of four shifts per month, one shift being on a weekend. This position will be paid at a set rate.

Responsibilities:
The Nursing Assistant performs a variety of resident related direct care duties, such as transporting, transferring, toileting, positioning, feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming residents, encouraging highest level of independence, and validating residents' concerns.
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Resident centered thinking, with awareness & sensitivity to resident needs, interests, & abilities
- Ability to meet the physical demands of position, including lifting over 50 lbs. while transferring a resident
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Working knowledge of personal computers and related software
- Ability to work with little supervision and make appropriate judgments
- Dependability, with the ability to follow direction
- Maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job
