What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bench Jeweler/Goldsmith position at Sakasci Diamonds?
Looking for a Bench Jeweler/Goldsmith. I am an appointment only Jeweler in New Albany Ohio so my Goldsmith will not be interrupted with all the walk in traffic of a retail box store. I am looking for someone who possesses the following skill sets as well has interest in
- Minimum 2-3 years experience
- Can operate Rhino 6 and Matrix Gold. Accepting applications for a candidate who does not have this skill. I own the software so the candidate can grow into that role and will have the time to do so. I'm paying $55,000 per year if the candidate does not know how to use these programs. I will take the new hire to the $72,000 after they have learned the program and can use proficiently.
- Can set all size and shape melee. Take a rough castings to finished pieces.
- Can work on platinum with a torch.
- Set all Fancy Shape Centers
- Restring, enamel, perform all infrequent repair jobs.
- Willing to perform tedious task of sorting melee, cleaning stations and organizing repair office.
- Partial and growing into majority or full ownership of the business.
- The business model is designed for and has emphasis on a quality of life that a box store cannot offer.
- Opportunity to sell jewelry within the business and create his/her own jewelry line to sell.
- Will pay signing bonus and allocate money for relocation for the right candidate.
