Job Summary:
Our growing Norman, Oklahoma office is seeking an exceptional Electrical Designer to join our team. The Electrical Designer will use AutoCAD and REVIT to design electrical systems, lighting layouts, and power systems for commercial spaces.
General Duties:
- Perform basic electrical design calculations
- Layout and design electrical distribution systems
- Work on lighting design and lighting controls
- Research applicable building codes
- Coordinate work with other disciplines
- Site survey to determine and document existing conditions
- Provide construction administration services
Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office
- Knowledge and understanding of codes, standards, and design guidelines
- Excellent work ethic and attitude
- Leadership ability and entrepreneurial spirit
- Good communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work
- Ability to work independently or on a team
- Ability to travel during normal working hours
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field is preferred but not required.
- 4 years of experience without a degree (or 2 years of experience with a degree) in the design of electrical systems for various types of facilities
