Job Summary:
As a Team Member at Salata, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. You will be responsible for preparing fresh and delicious salads, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and providing outstanding customer service. Our ideal candidate is friendly, enthusiastic, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation:
- Prepare and assemble salads according to Salata's standards and recipes.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and available for use.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Customer Service:
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide information about ingredients and dietary options.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously.
- Operational Duties:
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with integrity and accountability.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food preparation and dining areas.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant.
- Assist in training new team members as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Skills:
