Our experienced and highly qualified staff of engineers, geologists, environmental assessors, scientists and construction inspection professionals brings a responsive team-oriented approach to project management. Our services are offered throughout California and the Western United States.
We are looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant for our Corporate Division out of our Fresno, California office. The schedule will be part-time Monday through Friday. The schedule can be discussed during the interview process. This position will provide administrative support to the CEO, HR Manager and Corporate Accounting Division. The support will include processing timecards, entering payroll data into the appropriate Excel spreadsheets and other web platforms, assistance with employee benefits, new hire paperwork and other documentation, entering all certified payroll/non-performance for prevailing wage projects in Excel spreadsheets, reporting all certified payroll/non-performance for prevailing wage projects in the State of California DIR system, paper and electronic data filing, input of data and preparation of corporate documents.
Desired Skills and Experience
· Collecting, processing and entering daily time sheets for 80 employees.
· Identify prevailing wage projects and certified payroll hours on daily time sheets.
· Contacting clients for information needed to process certified payroll.
· Maintaining employee records and documentation.
· Planning and executing events like benefit enrollments, holiday parties, etc.
· Participates as needed in special department projects.
· The ability to be confidential with sensitive information is a must.
· Typically requires 3 years of administrative experience.
· Solid knowledge of basic office procedures.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to check own work.
· Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
· Ability to work with and take instructions from multiple people.
· Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Excel and Word).
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Proficient grammar, spelling, and punctuation is a must.
· Requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds occasionally.
· May be exposed to dust and/or odors from laboratory operations.
