Security Officer

Your role will involve monitoring premises, preventing theft, enforcing rules and regulations, and responding to emergencies. Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure the security of the premises
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems
- Investigate and report any suspicious activities or incidents
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Respond to emergencies such as medical incidents, fire alarms, or criminal activities
- Complete detailed reports of daily activities and incidents
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid security certificate/license preferred
- Prior military or law enforcement experience is a plus
- Knowledge of first aid/CPR techniques is beneficial
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Strong observation skills with the ability to detect potential security risks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle conflicts or difficult situations calmly and professionally

Pay: $18.24 - $21.97 per hour
