Position Overview:
Responsible for specializing in understanding the business usage of information technology and communicating those needs to technical resources. This role has a focus on eliciting requirements and architecting technology solutions according to identified business needs in collaboration with Process Owners, Developers, Vendors, and stakeholders. Based on sound analysis, this role will provide technical documentation to assist with technical implementation and support the adoption and ongoing use of application systems while adhering to the governance standards implementation. This role is also primarily responsible for maintaining project documentation functional, reliable, and cost-effective technology environment for the areas assigned and for identifying improvements as appropriate. The individual in this role is expected to work independently and may work under the guidance of a Senior Business Systems Analyst position for larger or more complex projects.

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for the elicitation and analysis of requirements in collaboration with Process Owners, Developers, Vendors, and stakeholders, and effectively translating these into functional /configuration requirements of the target solution. Identifies and establishes scope and parameters of systems analysis to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions.
  • Assist the testing team with the preparation of test cases and scripts that are relevant to the design and functional requirements while adhering to the defined quality and governance standards and procedures. Collaborates with Process Owners/Business stakeholders to ensure test applicability. Conducts and may assist with the coordination of system functional testing with internal or external resources as directed.
  • Assist the Organization Change Management teams with understanding the solution in preparation of Prepares training materials and user manuals. May be engaged to prepare materials, including user guides, presentations, and work instructions for the technical team.
  • Designs design and conducts user training sessions with an emphasis on relating the configuration and technical setup user experience and understanding to the functional/business requirements.
  • Assume project responsibilities as assigned for small to moderate-scale projects (in terms of cost, scope, and business function), that are either locally or globally managed. Perform matrix roles as assigned for local and global projects.
  • Collaboratively works with internal employees, vendors, and consultants to effectively implement solutions. Develops and maintains mutually productive relationships in the workplace and contributes to the team. Cooperates and acts as a team player. Engages with Application vendors under the guidance and in alignment with stakeholders and strategy.
  • Effectively follow global IT procedures and policies are followed consistently as defined by our Quality Management System (QMS). Follows the appropriate global regulatory guidelines and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; educational concentration in a computer-based discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems) or a technical discipline (e.g. Engineering, Mathematics) is preferred

Experience Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in IT working within an applicable function that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities of this position.
  • Pharma/Biotech or similarly regulated environment experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office products, such as Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and Visio.
  • Some knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is preferred.
  • Some Business Systems Analyst & Solution Architect related Functional/Technical knowledge is preferred.

Salary : $80,500 - $102,000
