JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- High school graduate or its equivalency.
- Must have completed a Central Sterile Service or similar area with skills for preparing sterile supplies. Must be familiar with department supplies and ordering procedures.
- Experience of at least one year in Central Sterile Service or similar area with skills for preparing sterile supplies. Must be familiar with department supplies and ordering procedures.
- Basic medical ethics concerning patients; conditions or treatment if observed.
- Evidence of good grooming and appropriate manner and conduct.
- Performance must be error free within standards recommended.
- Must be aware of safety hazards concerning autoclaves and contaminated instruments, etc.
- Experience in use of autoclaves, knowledge of instruments, updating procedures and policies.
