Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Conduct beauty consultations to understand customers' needs and recommend appropriate products or services
- Demonstrate product knowledge and educate customers on the features, benefits, and usage of various beauty products
- Assist customers with makeup application, skincare routines, and other beauty techniques
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including product displays and inventory management
- Stay up-to-date with the latest beauty trends, techniques, and product knowledge
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive work environment
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using salon software or POS systems (e.g., Millennium)
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, especially Spanish language skills
- Previous experience in cosmetology or beauty industry is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of makeup application techniques, skincare products, and beauty trends
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and build rapport with customers
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products or services
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
