Description: The Private Duty Aide will be a HHA or CNA that will provide care, company, and companionship to patients under the Private Care umbrella.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring patients’ physical and mental condition while maintaining patient comfort
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment while ensuring the highest quality of care at all times
- Assisting patients with personal services, such as, bathing, dressing, grooming and housekeeping
- Helping patients care for themselves by aiding in the use of canes, walkers, special eating utensils, and special techniques and equipment for personal hygiene
- Notifying nursing supervisor of changing or unusual conditions
Requirements:
- PCA, HHA and/or CNA certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills, friendly and professional demeanor
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work under stress and in emergency situations
- Commitment to providing compassionate care
