Head of Internal and External Communications - Consumer Retail

My client is a rapidly growing consumer brand in the scale up phase. Recently gone through Private Equity Acquisition. My client needs need someone with high energy, modern strategic thinking on how to run coms, eager to build things from scratch and enjoys a lot of greenfield with minimal internal and external resources at the beginning.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop innovative and groundbreaking communication strategies from the ground up both internally and externally to drive brand growth.
- Lead with high energy, implementing processes and systems for internal and external channels
- Build new communication channels and campaigns from scratch.
- Optimise limited resources for maximum impact
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support.
- Lead PR agency support driving global awareness
Key requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in consumer retail Communications
- Proven experience in supporting brand transitions, particularly from scale-up to global
- Previous experience working in a single contributor role covering both internal and external communications
- Proven track record of improving internal culture and creating a strong internal reputation
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience
