Your Impact at SAM:
The AutoCAD Drafter will work with the civil team on the production of civil drawings for infrastructure projects and will report to the Project Manager.
Responsibilities will include the drafting of civil infrastructure using AutoCAD.
- Strong experience with AutoCAD is required
- Draft civil construction drawings in AutoCAD.
- Research local jurisdictional regulations.
- Interpret civil facilities records.
- Proficient in boundary & topographic surveys
- Proficient in As-Built Surveys
- Fundamental knowledge of civil design techniques, tools and principals.
- Familiarity with civil design standards is a plus.
- Experience with engineering processes and practices, and their impact on project activities.
- Strong organization/communication skills.
- A willingness to work and learn in a dynamic environment that requires attention to detail
- The ability to learn new concepts, workflows and software
