This position will receive an hourly Coastal Differential in addition to the base hourly rate due to the needs of the Coastal Clinics.

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Assists practitioner in assigned Urgent Care and/or specialty clinic(s) in performance of procedures, telephone prescription orders/refills, maintaining patient record and relaying test results. Provides safe and quality nursing care under the direction of SHS practitioners and the Clinic Supervisor within scope of practice.

The Urgent Care teams at Samaritan Health Services treat conditions that require immediate attention but are not considered to be life-threatening or severe enough to be cared for in the hospital emergency department. As a walk-in health care facility treating acute medical conditions, we bring convenient and affordable health care to residents and visitors of our communities.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

Current unencumbered Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure required.

Healthcare Provider BLS required.

Six (6) months related experience required.

Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Experience in applicable specialty area preferred.

Lab/EKG experience preferred.
