What are the responsibilities and job description for the Secretary position at Samaritan Health?
Pay Range:
Days: $17.45 - $19.27
All evening and night shifts include shift differentials.
The base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. Shift differentials have been included in the range. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity and contracts.
- Minimum of 3-5 years secretarial experience plus six months of on-the-job training.
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and graphics software, with minimum typing speed of 60 wpm.
- Ability to compose correspondence and proof assignments to ensure accuracy of documents.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required.
- Detail attentiveness required.
- Individual must be self- motivated and willing to self-direct.
- Previous experience in a health care environment preferred.
- Ability to simultaneously handle multiple assignments and projects with speed and accuracy.
- Able to work efficiently and effectively under time constraints.
- Must be able to set assignment priorities and work independently with a minimum amount of supervision to complete tasks within a specified period of time.
Minimum Education Requirement -
Associate's degree in secretarial science.
