What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Worker II position at Samaritan Health?
Minimum Education Requirement :
SW II—Bachelor’s degree in social work or human services field required. Prior work with the elderly and/or disabled population preferred. Candidates should have a working understanding of social systems along with the ability to implement state and federal regulations.
SW III---Master’s degree in social work or human services field required. Prior work with the elderly and/or disabled population preferred. Candidates should have a working understanding of social systems along with the ability to implement state and federal regulations.
Minimum Experience Requirement :
Must be able to effectively work with the interdisciplinary team as well as provide residents with the highest practical level of physical, mental and psychological well-being and quality of life. Candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively with medical professionals internally as well as with outside agencies. He/she must possess outstanding interpersonal, non-judgmental and supportive skills as well as organizational and time management skills.
