As the Manager of Volunteer Services, you will be responsible for guiding, planning, developing and implementing volunteer services for effective use of all volunteer resources. This full-time opportunity offers $58k- $87k annually based on experience!

What You’ll Do:
- Guides, plans, develops and implements volunteer services for effective use of all volunteer resources
- Assess agency-wide volunteer needs
- Prepare Volunteer Dashboard for review with leadership
- Supervises volunteer coordinators
- Represents the volunteer workforce in the management of the agency and to the community at large
- Leads and directs volunteers in the provision of services for patients and families
- Maintains all volunteer personnel records
- Produce and maintain appropriate records and reports for volunteer services including volunteer personnel records and reports of time and services provided
- Develops procedures for Volunteer Services Department
- Oversee the recruitment, interviewing, screening, training and placement of volunteers utilizing agency staff as necessary in interviews, training and placement process
- Review retention statistics and establish departmental goals
- Promote volunteer resources within the agency
- Oversee Samaritan Thrift shops and supervise staff.
- Represents Samaritan at community events Answers questions and provides information to and about volunteers
What You’ll Bring to Our Team:
- 1-3 years of directly relevant volunteer experience
- Bachelor’s degree, required
- Strong computer and typing skills
- Proficient organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Bilingual is a plus!
