Samaritan Healthcare is live with EPIC and we are seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist to serve as a resource in promoting the understanding, integration, and application of information technology for our Samaritan Healthcare community in sunny, Moses Lake, Washington! This position plays a key role in implementation, maintenance, and support, including optimizing the usage of clinical systems through education and training, reporting, quality outcomes, and providing support per organizational goals. You will serve as a liaison between the clinical areas and the Information Technology Department to maintain the integrity and functionality of electronic health records. This includes the primary responsibility of determining the needs and requirements for clinical applications in patient care and support settings. The Clinical Informatics Specialist will also lead projects associated with the ongoing evaluation of informatics systems used to support the functions of clinical staff (i.e. EMR, nursing, digital imaging, etc.).
You may qualify for this position with the following credentialing and experience:
Note: Basic Life Support Heartsaver (HS) level to be completed within three (3) months of hire.
Full-time, salary-exempt.
This position is 75-80% remote work with occasional on-site days required and residence near Moses Lake, WA required.
