What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media Manager position at Sameday Health?
What we're looking for
The Social Media Marketing Manager will develop, implement, and drive social marketing strategies and initiatives, including planning and execution, to elevate the online social presence of the brand and help increase the overall value for the organization. This person will be responsible for the development of brand social campaigns uniquely on each platform to promote then engage audiences. This role will also work closely with the entire Marketing team, Customer Success, Clinical Product teams, as well as third-party agencies.
What this person will do
- Create posting schedule, support the design team through creative development and then execute posts on key social channels including Instagram and Facebook
- Build and launch TikTok, Snapchat, and other new platforms in a way that align to the platform voice and purpose but remain aligned to the brand goals and guidelines of Sameday Health
- Create and monitor content on Reddit, Twitter, and key text-based social channels that support Clients' and future Clients' informational needs while also driving the brand objectives forward.
- Respond to comments on all channels where possible in a positive and Client-centric tone that aligns to the brand values and escalate to customer support and other teams as needed
- Report on key metrics weekly including engagement, shares and other platform-specific metrics
- Align the posting schedule and content calendar to the larger brand goals to ensure maximum impact of all marketing channels.
- Grow followers on key channels in organic ways while also working with the paid media team to grow via advertising where appropriate.
What qualifications are necessary
- Bachelor's Degree in business or liberal arts
- 3-5 years of experience in social media management for a consumer company
- Clear understanding and point of view on content and brand voice and tone.
- Metrics-driven with a clear understanding of platform reporting systems and Google Analytics
- Ability to think creatively and strategically
- Self-starter – can identify and pursue opportunities with little to no guidance from others
- Results oriented and metrics focused
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as a strong team player in a challenging, fast-paced environment
- Proficient in multiple digital tools including Figma
