Job Summary/Overview:
Seeking an energetic Sr. Safety Engineer with strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and assist with identifying risks.
This role supports safety programs for one of the most advanced & largest semiconductor construction sites int he United States.

Specific Job Duties:
Ability to anticipate, identify, and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices during task performance (construction and operational tasks).
Develop hazard control designs, methods, procedures, and programs; and advise and educate others.
Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of hazard control elements.
Evaluation of task performance to ensure compliance with site and regulatory requirements.
Document and track results to support safety program elements.
Conduct incident investigations, identify root cause, determine corrective actions, and support implementation.
Conduct employee training for education on site safety requirements.
Lead team composed of contractor safety representatives and conduct weekly committee meetings.

Skills and Qualifications:
Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum years of experience required
Bachelors in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering or other closely related field, Masters Degree preferred;
10 Years of relative experience.
Preference for experience in Construction and in General Industry at a semiconductor manufacturing (FAB) facility.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools
Familiarity with OSHA Regulations (Construction and General Industry) and reporting guidelines
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with all levels of personnel on site required. Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and candor.
Ability to perform training to ensure proper H&S practices and awareness.
Keen understanding of best practices and implementation.
Proficiency in Microsoft software programs.
