Position Summary

This role will report directly to MX Channel Marketing, Integration team. As the Channel Marketing CRM Manager, you are instrumental in maximizing performance within Partner-led CRM efforts. You’ll work back with the Wireless Carrier and National Retail teams on building a holistic CRM Channel strategy as well as coordinate with key internal Samsung stakeholders within MX Marketing, Samsung.com, and cross LOB ecommerce team. In addition to daily CRM operations management, the Manager will assist in planning and implementing strategies to achieve key business objectives, track Partner CRM schedules and monitor KPIs in order to achieve excellence in demand generation program execution.

Role and Responsibilities

Define consistent Campaign Targets across all Partner-led CRM programs; work with MX Marketing to help define the target audience for individual campaigns designed to drive traffic to the Wireless Carriers, Retail partners, and Samsung.com. Align with our Data Science and agency teams to build target lists, acquire new contacts, and ensure optimum usage of internal database and external list sources.

CRM Governance: Participate in CRM Governance Council for planning and coordination across Samsung’s lines of business. Ensure compliance with all guidelines and when appropriate provide briefs and analysis for Council review.

Campaign Planning: Work closely with Carrier and National Retail Account teams to ensure marketing campaigns are aligned with each team’s sales objectives and also ladder into to the larger MX Channel Marketing principles. Build campaign tools and resources that account teams can easily leverage with Carrier and National Retail teams including launch playbooks.

Assist in building acquisition and retention campaigns with our Customer Channel teams based upon product and overall marketing priorities.

Work with Product, Marketing Managers and our creative agency to help identify assets (images, messaging and comparative specifications) that map to target.

Reporting: Work back with Customer Channel teams to analyze performance results and optimize campaigns based upon a test and learn strategy. Develop baseline measurement documents to standardize this process across all partner CRM plans. Streamline results and reporting for leadership updates across key sales timeframes.

Be a resource to Customer Channel teams by creating sell-in material to better operationalize CRM best practices and audience targeting. Ahead of product launches, communicate CRM Playbooks to assist teams with Go-To-Market planning guidance.

Assist in working and managing external creative agencies and vendors when necessary.

Work alongside the MX Marketing CRM counterpart: Manage both new sales and nurture campaigns to reach target audience and meet defined metrics.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing relevant field; MBA preferred.
  • 6 years’ experience with minimum 3 years in a similar role
  • Independent worker with excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Must have effective communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
  • Strong presence with the ability to interact with Senior Leadership
  • Ability to coordinate processes and work as part of multiple teams across a large organization
  • An ability to manage personal workload and agenda independently but in alignment with the priorities of the business unit
  • Familiarity with large scale data and querying ability is preferred

Physical/Mental Demands and Working Conditions

  • The position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:
    • Work is generally performed in an office environment.
    • Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal 50% of work time, including prolonged periods of time.
    • The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time under 25 pounds.
    • Performs work under time schedules and stresses which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive job stress, fatigue, unpaid over-time, intellectual challenge, constant technical data feedback, language barriers, and business management stress.
