Support Continuous Improvement programs throughout the facility

- Process Mapping - Gain understanding and document processes in the manufacturing environment
- Managing for Daily Improvement (MDI) - Attend MDI meetings and provide new perspective on ways to improve
- Standard Work - Help create Standard Work in the manufacturing environment
Lead an improvement project

- Work with a cross-functional team to complete an improvement project
- Collect data, make a recommendation, and implement as time allows
- Facilitate change
Provide analytical support to the CI team by conducting research, compiling information, preparing presentations and materials, and all other support as needed or requested.
Be an 'on the floor' resource in the assigned facility

Qualifications & Requirements
Student in Junior or Senior status working towards a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Process Engineering, MFG Engineering or other related field required
Experience & Training
Involvement in campus organizations, non-class related volunteer work, off-campus employment and demonstrated leadership abilities preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
The ability to communicate and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of Associates.
The ability to define and solve problems, collect data, establish facts, use sound judgment, and draw valid conclusions to make effective decisions and achieve successful problem resolution.
