What are the responsibilities and job description for the Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician position at Samvardhana Motherson Group?
Objectives of the position:
- To secure and to maintain the availability of the production facilities.
- Preparation and implementation of concepts for improvement.
- To ensure the functionality of the facility and outside facilities.
- In the event of a fault, fast and targeted action is needed for short downtimes of the systems and machines.
- During the production monitoring weak points become aware and causes can be removed.
- Well-directed personnel deployment.
Proficiencies:
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
- Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings or structures.
- Knowledge of relevant safety equipment, policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of the structure and function of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
- Maintenance systems.
- Proficient Knowledge of; Mechanical, Electrical, Blueprint Reading, Electrical Schematics reading, Arc Welding, Gas Welding & Cutting.
- Basic knowledge of PLC and robotics.
- Strong understanding of industrial maintenance Safety & Best Practices and the ability adhere to them.
- Able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
