Position
SAS has an opening for a Landscaper to maintain the grounds at our San Antonio locations.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain gardens and lawns, including mowing, trimming, pruning, racking and weeding.
- Water plants and lawns and add fertilizer as needed.
- Remove leaves and unwanted dead or damaged trees as needed.
- Drives work vehicles to and from sites.
- Clean outdoor facilities.
- Monitor and maintain plant health.
- Any other duties assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Punctual and organized
- Highly motivated
- Mature, responsible, and self-motivated with a strong work-ethic and follow through
- A self-starter who enjoys taking on new challenges to expand his/her role
- Willing to get involved in anything and everything with an “It Can Be Done” attitude
- Able to multi-task handling several projects, while working independently or with a team
- Bilingual a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, open work-space environment
- Ability to work well with a team or autonomously
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand/walk for 8–10 hours
- Must be able to work in an outside environment.
- Moderate twisting and lifting throughout the day
Education & Experience Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- At least one year of landscaping is preferred, but not required.
- Able to operate and use landscaping tools.
