ARMC which is owned and operated by the County of San Bernardino, is a state-of-the art 456 bed university affiliated teaching medical center featuring the newest in technology in the field of patient care. ARMC, is host to six (6) Medical Surgical and six (6) Telemetry units providing care to a diverse patient population, a 24-hour Emergency Department providing more than 90,000 annual visits, Level II Trauma Center verified by the American College of Surgeons and a Regional Burn Center. Services also include Behavioral Health, Outpatient Specialty Clinics, Primary Care Family Health Centers, a certified Primary Stroke Center and Baby Friendly designation from Baby-Friendly USA with over 2800 births annually. The Neonatal Intensive Care is a 30 bed Community California Children's certified unit.
Vaccination Requirements: On December 24, 2021, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) updated the Public Health Officer Orders regarding COVID-19 vaccination requirements to include the COVID-19 vaccine booster. This impacts workers in health care settings within hospitals, high-risk congregate settings, and other health care settings. Workers in health care settings are to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

Vaccination Exemptions
Upon hire, candidates will be required to submit proof of vaccination including the booster dose or request an exemption from the vaccination and booster requirements based on either religious belief or medical reasons
COVID-19 Testing Requirements
Workers in impacted health care facilities who are not “fully vaccinated and boosted” are required to submit to COVID-19 testing either once or twice per week to meet testing requirements.
Physical: Must have physical ability to lift and/or assist in lifting 50 pounds or more. Employees must perform activities that require bending, squatting, twisting, and turning.
Background: Applicant must pass a background investigation; and verification of employment history and education.
ARMC Positions: Positions assigned to ARMC may be required to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
CERTIFICATION: Must possess and maintain certification with the State of California, Department of Public Health as a Radiologic Technologist AND obtain certification in Fluoroscopy with the State of California, Department of Public Health within six (6) months of hire AND must possess and maintain current Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association.
REGISTRATION: Must possess and maintain registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) AND be registered in California OR with the ARRT in Mammography.

EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience in a hospital or medical institution as a radiologic technologist performing specialized radiologic examinations for diagnosis.
