Who We Are: The San Francisco-Marin Food Bank is comprised of a dedicated team of approximately 240 staff working collaboratively to provide over a million meals to over 50,000 households every week in San Francisco and Marin.

What You Would Be Accountable for:
The Manager, Gift Processing Systems will be responsible for the following key pieces of work:
? Gift processing and acknowledgement strategy and framework, including oversight of related systems, processes, reporting and documentation; ensure the timeliness and accuracy of all gift acknowledgements, per industry best practices and I.R.S. guidelines.
? Reporting and compliance, including monthly gift reporting, reconciliation with Finance, and support of annual audit and organizational reporting process.
? Strategy and capacity-building, including leveraging technology to improve capabilities and enhance the donor experience.
? Fundraising support, including request management, training and maintaining a resource library.
What You Would Be Doing Right Now:
? Overseeing the daily processing of online and offline gifts, as well as the tax receipting and acknowledgement process.
? Serving as a liaison to Finance, ensuring compliance with all required gift entry, reporting and controls.
? Managing our relationships with external vendors which have been integrated into the gift and acknowledgement process, such as lockbox and mailing services.
? Collaborating with fundraising leaders across Development to understand donor perspectives and needs and to ensure that the gift and acknowledgement process meets those needs.
? Providing management, mentorship and guidance to direct reports.
What Else You Should Know:
PREFERRED 6 years of professional experience and demonstrated success in process development and gift and acknowledgement processing in a nonprofit development environment; 3 years of experience in using The Raiser's Edge/NXT (or similar CRM); 3 years of experience in people management with a demonstrated ability to mentor, advise and develop direct reports.

SALARY The position is Full Time. The starting salary for this position ranges from Click to add starting salary (eg $77,450 to $91,118 per year, with exact salary depending on experience.
