Accounts Payable Manager
Job Posting for Accounts Payable Manager at San Joaquin Valley Homes
San Joaquin Valley Homes, the fastest-growing Home Builder in the Central Valley, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to join our Accounting & Finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire Accounts Payable process, including invoice entry, coding & check runs
- Resolve discrepancies, disputes, or other issues
- Work closely with vendors and subcontractors to ensure payments are processed timely
- Process intercompany transactions and bank transfers
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Organize and maintain documentation of A/P processes and procedures
- Maintain A/P files, ensuring proper maintenance, filing, and storage of records
- Work closely with the Controller and Accounting Manager to meet department deadlines
- Supervise, provide guidance, and manage the workload of Accounts Payable staff
- Prepare and process annual 1099 reports
- Other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with BuildPro and Hyphen Solutions Software a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in Construction industry
Salary Compensation and Benefits:
$50,000-$65,000 DOE
