Reports to: Manager, Digital and Video Production
Hours of Work: All 66 San Jose Giants Home Games. Hours as required, Monday to Friday, weekends if and when needed.

Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH) is a subsidiary of Endeavor, the global sports and entertainment company. DBH was formed in 2021 to support, promote, and enhance Minor League Baseball through professional management, best practices, innovation and investment.
DBH San Jose/San Jose Giants are currently scouting for a charismatic person who can bring enthusiasm and knowledge of the game of baseball and become the voice of Excite Ballpark while simultaneously controlling the ballpark’s sounds and atmosphere!
Responsibilities Include:

- Announce in-game action including but not limited to: lineups, pre-game activities, in-game promotions, in-game batters/pitchers, sponsorship mentions, and all game script items.
- Assist in controlling and activating ballpark music, sound bites, and other sound board needs.
- Bring an enthusiastic demeanor to each game to elevate the fan experience.
- Review and provide feedback on PA script with game operations personnel to ensure a high level of accuracy and execution.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience as PA announcer and/or sound control preferred.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of baseball.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable announcing to crowds of 3,000 people on a microphone.
- Comfortable announcing complex names from a variety of ethnic backgrounds.
- Ability to read a script and adapt on the fly if needed.
- Always maintain a professional image whether on or off the microphone.
- Demonstrate a friendly and positive attitude and engage in fan interaction.
Applicant is expected to be available to work all 66 San Jose Giants home games including weekdays, weekends and evenings. This is a seasonal position.
