Located on a hillside overlooking the valley, we are a 123-bed, acute-care hospital, primary stroke center, and a cardiac heart surgery hospital. This position reports to Nursing Director. The Nursing Program Manager is responsible for implementation, ongoing management and strategic growth of the program: outpatient Wound Care Center, HBO, inpatient and outreach. The Nursing Program Manager oversees day-to-day program operations and is responsible for: budgeting, revenue and cost management, reimbursement, quality management, performance improvement, marketing and community education, patient care and patient satisfaction, staffing and supervision of employees. The Nursing Program Manager is responsible for maintaining collaborative and consultative client relationships, integrating programs within the hospital organization and creating effective working relationships within the company, both internal and external to the hospital organization. Ultimately, the Nursing Program Manager is accountable for achieving program metrics and demonstrating the value proposition to the customer.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
Desired - Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields: Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field;
MBA or Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred
Minimum Experience/Skills:
At least one (1) year in the Leadership/ Supervisory/ Management role;
Marketing experience in the healthcare field preferred;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills .
Licenses/Certificates/Credentials:
Current CA RN license;
Current BLS certification for Health Care Providers (American Heart Association certified);
Current Certification in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence preferred.
