Tire Technician
Sand Revolution/ Fevid Transport is looking for a Tire Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for repairing and performing all maintenance on tractor-trailer tires to keep vehicles operating safely.
Responsibilities:
- Install new tires/wheels and perform tire services on commercial vehicles. (rotations, balancing and flat repairs)
- Maintain inventory of parts and supplies
- Move trucks in and out of tire bay
- Perform other related job duties assigned
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in diagnosis, maintenance, repair and replacement of tires on commercial vehicles.
- Knowledge of the practices associated with tires
- Valid Driver’s License or Commercial Driver’s License
- Ability to work flexible hours/ schedule (weekends)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S
Physical Demands/ Working Conditions:
- Tire technicians must be capable of frequently exerting 50 pounds of force and up to 100 when needed.
- Work is performed in an environment with heavy equipment and machinery
Schedule:
- Sunday-Saturday 8:30am-8:30pm (with every other weekend off)
- Sunday-Saturday 10:00am- 10:00pm (with every other weekend off)
