What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Staff position at Sandia Botanicals?
Responsibilities:
Be in proper uniform and ready to perform the days tasks as soon as the shift starts.
Uphold all health and safety codes.
Read, follow, and execute provided recipes.
Measure, portion, and weigh ingredients with precision and accuracy.
Ensure the highest quality control for all products and ingredients.
Preparing, cooking, packaging, labeling, and boxing all products.
Dish washing and standard kitchen/restroom upkeep and cleaning.
Properly document and record all completed products.
Properly intake product and packaging deliveries.
Skills/Competencies:
Basic knowledge of cooking procedures and equipment.
Basic knowledge of kitchen measurements i.e., tsp, T, g, mg, oz, L, ml.
Basic understanding of food safe practices and procedures.
Basic math skills: multiply, add, subtract, divide.
Basic computer literacy skills, including but not limited to, Microsoft office, Chrome,
Gmail, and Biotrack.
Basic knowledge and interest in cannabis and the cannabis industry.
Ability to follow instructions to completion with strict attention to detail.
Ability to change tasks with ease.
Ability to safely navigate the kitchen and kitchen equipment.
Servesafe Certification (will be provided if needed)
HIPPA Training Certification (will be provided if needed)
Physical Demands:
Ability to perform manual labor tasks including, but not limited to, sitting, standing,
stooping, stretching, reaching, performing repetitive tasks, and frequently lifting up to
50lbs.
Prolonged exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
Exposure to THC and other cannabinoids.
Exposure to isopropyl alcohol and ethanol.
Exposure to cannabis plants and plant matter.
Working Relationships/ Chain of Command:
Reports to kitchen manager/head chef and operations director.
Job Type: Full-time
