Position Summary
Reviews, analyzes and evaluates casino systems and user needs. Provides gaming systems assistance to users. Assists and follows the directions of the Gaming System Analyst II.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures 100% of the Slot Maintenance Records have the correct and complete manufacturer PAR sheet on file.
Ensures that 100% of the manufacturer PAR Sheet data is entered into the slot data system for all Slot Maintenance Records.
Ensures that the tracking of support calls to vendors is properly documented and communicated within 2 days of the initial support call. Tracks 100% of all problem resolutions and acts as a liaison between our users and the vendor.
Maintains inventory of all Gaming System end user parts and components and maintains appropriate inventory levels.
Produces all Monthly and Quarterly reports according to NIGC standards and Sandia Resort & Casino Internal Controls and Standard Operating Procedures.
Ensures that all gaming interfaces are restarted and operational at all time of the gaming day.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Ability to plan, implement, test, and troubleshoot system software. Ability to install, test, and maintain operating software and hardware.
Ability to determine computer problems and to coordinate hardware and/or software solutions.
Ability to document work in progress.
Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise.
Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions.
Ability to write technical instructions in the use of programs and/or program modifications.
Knowledge of a broad range of relevant multi-user computer systems, applications, and/or equipment.
Knowledge of computer security procedures and protocol.
Ability to determine the nature of computer hardware and systems software problems, and to communicate technical guidance and information to users.
Must have excellent customer service skills.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, manage projects, install, configure, upgrade, maintain, monitor system performance, network resources and provide guidance to team members and gaming systems.
Must have knowledge of Casino operations and related systems.
Working knowledge of the following areas preferred: Bingo, Keno, and Poker.
Ability to create reports and maintains files.
Knowledge of operation of slot data systems.
Working knowledge of the following applications: Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and other current casino operating systems.
Ability to follow instructions.
Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience
Required:
Associates Degree in Information Systems, CIS (Computer Information Systems), Computer Science, Information Technology (IT) or related field and one (1) year administrative experience of a slot data system and one (1) year experience related to slots and table games systems. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling four (4) years may substitute for the required education and experience.
Licensing Status
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.
Will require a post-offer, pre-employment and random drug screening.
Working Conditions
Work is performed indoors.
Work is in a 24x7 on-call environment.
Work hours subject to change with overtime work required.
Must be able to work long hours under stressful conditions.
Subject to hazards that may cause personal bodily harm: smoke, common colds, influenza, dust, odors and elevated noise levels.
Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hard and soft carpeted floors, cement structures and surfaces.
Duties may involve walking, standing for long periods of time, sitting and crouching.
