Position Summary
Provides administrative support including processing purchase orders, placing orders, and organizing paperwork in accordance with Sandia Resort & Casino Purchasing Department standard operating procedures.

Supervised by the Materials Manager
Major Duties and Responsibilities
1.Processes purchase requisitions and service agreements in compliance with standard operating procedures.
Obtains W-9s, NM NTTCs, Certificates of Insurance, vendor credit applications and STGC vendor license registration.
Assists in organization and maintenance of electronic filing system.
Coordinates with Accounts Payable and Shipping & Receiving in order to ensure accurate pricing, product, and quantity delivered.
Performs additional duties as necessary.

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must have excellent math skills.
Must have excellent computer skills using windows based software.
Ability to understand and execute complex oral and written instructions.
Ability to be flexible and move from one task to another easily and quickly.
Ability to exhibit strong initiative and motivational commitment to the organization.
Ability to deal effectively with casino team members and be a team player.
Ability to file, do ten key, and use computer skills.
Ability to work odd and unusual hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
Knowledge of general office methods.
Ability to use discretion in working with sensitive and confidential records.
Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience
Required:
High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent.
Two (2) years experience in a position involved in the purchasing, shipping & receiving, or inventory management.
Licensing Status
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.
Will require a post-offer, pre-employment and random drug screening.
Working Conditions
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
Limited physical effort is required.
Limited exposure to physical risk.
Work hours subject to change with overtime work required.
Must be able to work long hours under stressful conditions
