Minimum Clearance Required
- Active Public Trust Clearance
Education/Certification Requirements:
- Bachelors degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Active CISSP, CISM, CISA, CDPSE, or CRISC certification
Work Experience & Skill Requirements
- Experience in drafting/developing/interpreting policies, program strategies, methodologies, and/or procedures
- Experience in Risk Management
- Experience in IT acquisition
- Experience in Cybersecurity Risk Assessments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular audits and assessments of the organization's information security policies, procedures, and controls
- Identifying potential vulnerabilities and recommending measures to protect against security threats
- Developing and implementing security standards and best practices
- Collaborating with IT teams to ensure appropriate security controls are in place throughout the organization's systems and networks
- Monitoring security incidents and conducting forensic investigations when necessary
- Staying up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies
- Providing expertise and guidance on matters related to information security to stakeholders across the organization
- Assisting in the development of security awareness and training programs
- Participating in the testing and evaluation of new security technologies
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
