Maintenance Worker

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and grounds cleaning/landscaping. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Drywall and paint repairs, sometimes minor and sometimes full room
• Plumbing repairs, including but not limited clearing clogs using a variety of sizes of snakes, pipe replacement and repair,
• Electrical repairs, including but not limited to light fixture repair and replacement, light switch replacement, and outlet replacement
• Door lock maintenance, including programming, cleaning, and basic servicing
• Repairs on various tools and machines used, including but not limited to vacuums, washers and dryers, pool heaters
• Grounds keeping, including but not limited to yard care,
• Pool and jacuzzi maintenance - chemistry maintenance, cleaning, and proper record keeping as required by the health department

Skills

• Previous maintenance experience
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
• Experience using hand and electrical tools
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
