Position: Junior Clinician (Clinical Internship) and/or Practicum
Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado
Reports to: Clinical Program Director
Work Environment: Medical Detox Treatment Center

- When possible, we ask that individuals who complete practicum with us consider staying on for their clinical internship hours upon completion of practicum if offered this opportunity by the Program Director*
Requirements:
- You must be currently enrolled in a master’s in counseling or social work program seeking a clinical practicum or internship.
- 15-20 hours/week commitment with minimum 1 evening/week availability
- Commitment to high quality clinical documentation and other associated paperwork and billing responsibilities, all paperwork expected to be completed within required timelines.
- A professional attitude and ability to maintain self-awareness, seeking support when needed.
- Strong communication skills, capable of coordinating care with clients, family, and other providers.
Position Description:
Clinical Interns/Practicum Students work closely with the broader clinical team to support clients and families in programming. Primary responsibilities include supporting treatment of clients as assigned, contributing to treatment goals alongside multidisciplinary clinical team, and conducting individual, group, and family therapy with assigned clients. Practicum students, please be aware you must agree to always work under direct supervision of a Sandstone Care clinician while onsite for your practicum hours.
