Core Duties:
- Lead by example
- Be punctual, dependable and professional at all times
- Work with cost effectiveness, profitability and safety in mind
- Lead the safety effort by recognizing and correcting hazards as soon as they are present and be the #1 safety advocate for the division
- Represent yourself and the company in a professional manner at all times
- Produce accurate and thorough proposals on or ahead of schedule
- Lead the effort for the execution of subcontracts and purchase orders and coordinate with the Division Administrative Assistant
- Produce the project package to Superintendent prior to in house preconstruction meeting
- Lead the in-house preconstruction meeting
- Proof plans for conflicts and constructability concerns, communicate these to the appropriate parties
- Communicate production goals to team members in the field
- Communicate resource needs with the Division leader
- Work with the Superintendent to ensure the project schedule is met/exceeded
- Work with the Superintendent to monitor the quality of work
- Process change orders and track them until they are finalized
- Measure/track quantities and cost
- Maintain project budgets
- Produce and distribute weekly project report
- Communicate with architects, engineers or owners to proactively resolve issues
- Coordinate the project closeout documentation with the Division Administrative Assistant
- Ensure our projects maintain a professional appearance at all time
- Work with division leader to meet/exceed division goals
- Ensure all team members abide by company policy
- Be willing to go the extra mile with surges in workloads
- Communicate time away from work with your team leader and other team members with sufficient notice
- Willingness to work hours as required
Education/Training/Certification:
- OSHA Supervisor Training
- Trenching and Shoring Competent Person
- Rigging
- First Aid/CPR
