Job Description: Sanford Federal Inc. is currently seeking an experienced and qualified individual for the position of Chief of Party to oversee a significant contract involving the United States Agency for International Development's (USAID) Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) funded humanitarian program activities in Sudan. As Chief of Party, you will provide overall management, guidance, and direction to the Sanford Federal's team, ensuring the completion of all deliverables required under the project and overall compliance with contract terms, including oversight of any subcontractor's work.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the team.
• Ensuring completion of the Monitoring Project deliverables.
• Providing technical guidance.
• Coordinating administration and operations.
• Managing client relations.
• Mitigating risks and ensuring quality outcomes.

Experience required:

• The Chief of Party must have at least ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience related to monitoring Services. Within the ten (10) years of experience, the Chief of Party must have at least five (5) years of experience managing teams and at least two (2) years of experience working in conflict zones and non-permissive environments.
• The Chief of Party must have previous experience managing third party monitoring projects, monitoring, and evaluation (M&E) support projects, or complex projects in a humanitarian, development, or transition context.

Desired Experience:

• The Chief of Party should have previous experience conducting quantitative and qualitative field research in conflict zones.
• Previous experience working on programs implemented in Sudan is highly desirable.
• Previous experience managing subcontractors is desirable.
• Previous experience implementing a USAID-funded program is desirable.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in international affairs, social science, or a related field.
• Or Bachelor's degree in international affairs, social science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience related to Monitoring services.
• The Chief of Party must have excellent oral and written English communication skills, analytical skills, interpersonal skills, team management skills.
