On-Site Manager

Location: Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hrs/week. Monday-Friday with occasional weekends.

Job Overview: Oversee all grounds maintenance operations. Ensure compliance with contract requirements and quality standards. Manage on-site personnel and serve as primary government contact.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Supervises maintenance personnel and assigns daily work orders.
  • Inspects work routinely to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintains logs, reports and other compliance documentation.
  • Communicates with government representative regarding schedules, issues, changes.
  • Coordinates material purchases and equipment maintenance.
  • Performs hands-on maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or technical degree preferred.
  • 3 years experience in landscaping/grounds field supervision.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and requirements.
  • Strong leadership and project coordination abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
