Job Overview:

We are actively seeking a seasoned Water Quality Compliance SME with extensive expertise in water quality controls, water monitoring, and compliance with the Clean Water Act. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years' experience as a technical lead for water quality compliance. While expertise with the New Mexico Administrative Code Water Quality Control and the Water Authority Sewer Use and Wastewater Control Ordinance is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.

• Minimum of five (5) years' experience as a technical lead for water quality compliance.

• Expertise in water quality controls, water monitoring, and Clean Water Act requirements.

• Familiarity with New Mexico Administrative Code Water Quality Control and Water Authority Sewer Use and Wastewater Control Ordinance is preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

Clean Water Act Compliance:

Serve as the primary expert on Clean Water Act requirements, ensuring compliance with federal standards for water quality.

Water Quality Controls:

Oversee and guide the implementation of water quality control measures and technologies. Water Monitoring Programs:

Develop and manage water monitoring programs to assess and measure water quality parameters.

Compliance Audits:

Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with water quality regulations.
