Sanford Federal is looking for supply technicians to ensure that supplies and materials are distributed to all areas serviced by Logistics.

Job Details:

• Job Title: Supply Technician.
• Location: VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System,11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90073.
• Type: Full time. 

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain stock at secondary inventory locations for all clinical and administrative services. As well as pull stock inventory and material from main inventory for delivery; replenish stock inventory; interact with clinical customers to ensure issues and needs are identified and either resolved or escalated to supervisors as needed.
•  Monitor expiration dates and rotate stock to limit outdated stock and remove items from use as required by the outdated.
• Support manager in checking inventory for stock to identify recalled items and hazard alerts.
•  Perform a daily inventory of secondary inventory points using barcoding equipment on a predetermined schedule that will allow for timely replenishment orders.
• Clean assigned secondary areas (shelves and bins) by aseptic principles as published in infection control guidelines.
• Deliver supplies in a timely and accurate manner. The contractor shall ensure supplies and material delivered are in sterile/clean and operational condition.
